Terry established Clarksons with a vision to deliver trusted electrical and fuels services across New Zealand. With decades of hands-on experience and entrepreneurial drive, he built the business from the ground up, setting the foundation for the Group’s growth into a multi-disciplinary organisation. Today, as Director, Terry continues to provide guidance and strategic oversight, ensuring Clarksons remains true to its core values of quality, safety, and customer commitment while embracing innovation for the future.

David has over 26 years’ experience in the fuels and electrical industry, spanning roles from technical services to senior leadership. Starting his career as an electrical apprentice in 1993, he joined Clarkson Electrical in 1997 and progressed through positions including Registered Electrician, Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager. In 2008, David took over as General Manager from his father, Terry, and now serves as Managing Director of the Clarkson Group and all its companies. With an MBA and deep technical expertise, David provides strategic direction and governance, driving innovation and growth while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Sebastian brings over 20 years of expertise in the petrochemical industry, specialising in fuel systems, pump and tank installations, and electrical work in hazardous environments. A qualified electrician and seasoned project manager, he is passionate about delivering operational excellence whilst maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Known for his problem-solving skills and hands-on leadership, Sebastian now leads Clarksons’ Fuels & Carwash division, driving innovation and customer satisfaction across all operations.

Gary brings extensive leadership experience across facilities and fuels management, with a proven track record in operational excellence and compliance. Known for his strategic approach and passion for team development, Gary now leads Clarksons’ People & Safety division, overseeing HR and health & safety functions. His focus is on creating a culture of collaboration, ensuring every team member is supported, competent, and empowered to deliver their best. With a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, Gary drives initiatives that enhance workplace safety and employee engagement across the organisation.

Manaaks brings extensive expertise in electrical systems and property services, backed by years of hands-on experience in the industry. A registered electrician and certified hazardous area inspector, he combines technical proficiency with strong leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. As General Manager of Electrical & Property, Manaaks oversees all aspects of electrical contracting and property maintenance, driving quality, reliability, and innovation across Clarksons’ service delivery.

Mike brings over 25 years’ leadership experience in the fuels and facilities sectors. After serving as Group Business Development Manager at Clarkson Group from mid-2023, he took on the role of General Manager when Clarksons acquired Petroleum Solutions Ltd in April 2024. Previously, he held CEO and senior management roles at Oxygen Air, Portacom, Acrow, City Care, HRV and Fuelquip. Mike has since spearheaded the integration of the PSL team into Clarksons, reinforcing the Group’s capability in hazardous-area petroleum infrastructure. He is renowned for reconnecting with clients and building strong operational teams post-acquisition

Lee joined Cowley Refrigeration in 2021 and brings a comprehensive background in the service and refrigeration sectors. Originally from the UK, he has spent the last eight years in New Zealand working for large multinationals before joining Cowley. Based in Auckland with responsibility for seven branches nationwide, Lee leads HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation and heating solutions underpinned by Clarksons’ ERP and shared systems. A seasoned operations leader, Lee emphasises family values, reliability, health & safety, and client partnership—leveraging smart IoT technology to deliver high-quality, responsive service.

Chris leads the Sales and Procurement functions across the Clarkson Group, driving growth through strategic partnerships and streamlined supply chain management. With a strong commercial focus and deep understanding of client needs, Chris ensures the Group delivers competitive solutions while maintaining quality and reliability. His role encompasses building long-term relationships, negotiating key contracts, and aligning procurement strategies with operational excellence—supporting Clarksons’ commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Jade leads Clarksons’ Administration function and oversees the triage and service delivery team, ensuring smooth coordination across all operational areas. With 11 years of experience in the business and a shareholder in the Clarkson Group, Jade plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and customer responsiveness. Her leadership ensures that service requests are managed promptly and effectively, supporting the Group’s commitment to quality and reliability.

Robyn oversees all financial operations for the Clarkson Group, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and accurate reporting across the organisation. With a strong focus on efficiency and transparency, she manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy to support sustainable growth. Robyn plays a key role in aligning financial performance with the Group’s long-term objectives, providing clear insights that enable informed decision-making at every level.
